Nestled in a serene neighborhood a mere stroll from Staufen's vibrant town center, this historic gastro-pub offers a blend of traditional hospitality and contemporary comforts. My family and I enjoyed the spacious, noise-free rooms, perfect for both young and elderly guests. A particularly nice touch was the fresh strawberries awaiting us as we arrived. The restaurant emphasizes organic ingredients, and our meals reflected a commitment to quality. Breakfast, ordered rather than buffet-style, provided excellent fried eggs with crispy bacon-a good departure from typical offerings. While dinner pricing aligned with the quality, the experience in the cozy outdoor setting was noteworthy. Christina, the owner, and her husband, the chef, ensured our stay was smooth and pleasant. For those seeking a culinary retreat, this place could be a worthwhile choice.
